Donor Detectives Naming and Branding
Donor Detectives was formally known as the KPG group. They find Donors for non-profits, but no one could tell that from their name.
Collaborating with Digital Caffeine, we renamed their company and gave them a new look and feel. We designed a new logo, style guide, all of their collateral and social pages
Working on brownie research. Got to be one of the best jobs. The owner of Lovepuppies came to sparkle and needed naming, an identity and packaging. We deep dove into the competition and sampled many brownies, looked at what made each brand special and looked at their packaging. What stood out about Joel's business is they are truly made with love and made in Austin. He had all sorts of fun additions to the recipes so we had a great time working on flavor names. The brand is whimsical and fun and the flavors and graphics reflect this.
These are the first edition labels of the brownie line. There are now many more and the brownies are sold in fun establishments like Torchy's and Verts.
Sex Logic Branding
Yasisca had just finished her MA in Sex Therapy and wanted to build a brand and her credibility. We created a bold fun logo using one of her drawings and making it into a icon. We built her a site utilizing a pinterest style for her blog. A different and clean approach for an interesting subject.

A politically cool campaign
Back before people were making cool campaigns for politicians, we built a cool campaign for Randi Shade.
The emphasis was put on the fact that Randi is a woman, and she draws from many different types of people. Putting her on her materials to show her personality along with the tagline "Different Just Like Austin". To show her uniqueness as a candidate, to add some humanity as well as address the issues that a growing city like Austin has.
An entire package was developed: branding, visual style for website, collateral and signage.
Shortcakes - Sugar Is Our Business.
Role: Creative Direction | Visual Design | UX
Challenge: Shortcakes makes delicious cupcakes, cakeballs and offers services like custom cookies and candy buffets for events. However, they do not sell shortcakes.
Solution: We coined the term "sugar is our business". The logo was designed and then sparklecreative worked off of this idea to create the website, icons and marketing materials. A collaboration with the owner helped build the sassy voice of the brand. We created a Wordpress site from scratch and made it easy for the user to see what's available and find out more about the offerings.

Posters Worth Stealing
Murchison Middle School Dance Posters.
That’s right. Two years in a row. Sparklecreative developed this idea based on songs that were popular the year of the dance to create a sort of visual earworm. We searched high and low to find lines of popular songs that didn’t contain profanity or anything offensive. (its not that easy these days). The following year with we did the same theme again of course updating the latest songs.
